Use of the Service

Remove Background Noise allows users to upload audio recordings, preview noise-reduced audio when available, and process complete recordings using available processing minutes. You agree to use the service in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

User Accounts and Registration

1. Account Creation: Certain features, including full-file processing and purchases, may require an account. You must provide accurate and complete information.

2. Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account.

3. Unauthorized Use: You agree to notify us promptly if you become aware of unauthorized access to your account or another security breach.

Audio Processing and User Content

1. Rights to Uploaded Audio: You retain ownership of audio you upload. You represent that you own or have all permissions necessary to upload and process that audio and that doing so does not violate any law or third-party right.

2. Permission to Process: You grant Remove Background Noise and its service providers a limited right to host, copy, transmit, and process your audio solely as necessary to operate, secure, and improve the service and provide the requested results.

3. Processing Quality: Noise reduction results vary based on the recording, file format, speakers, and background sounds. We do not guarantee that all noise will be removed or that every result will meet your requirements.

4. Service Limits: Supported formats, file-size limits, preview availability, processing times, and other limits are displayed on the website and may change as the service evolves.

Processing Minutes and Plans

• Full-file processing uses minutes based on audio duration, rounded up to the next whole minute.
• Monthly subscription minutes reset on the renewal date and unused monthly minutes do not roll over.
• Annual subscription minutes and one-time minute packs are valid for the period shown at purchase.
• Available plans, prices, included minutes, and features are described on our pricing page.
• Processing minutes have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may be used only with the account for which they were purchased or granted.

Intellectual Property Rights

The Remove Background Noise website, software, user interface, branding, documentation, and underlying technology are protected by intellectual property laws and belong to Remove Background Noise or its licensors.

• You retain your rights in the original audio you upload.
• Subject to these Terms and any rights that apply to the source recording, you may use your noise-reduced results for personal or commercial purposes when your purchased plan includes commercial use.
• You may not copy, resell, sublicense, or exploit the service or its underlying technology except as expressly permitted by us in writing.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the service for an illegal, fraudulent, harmful, or unauthorized purpose.
• Upload audio that infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights.
• Process recordings without any consent required by applicable law.
• Interfere with or disrupt the security, integrity, or performance of the service.
• Attempt to bypass authentication, processing limits, payment requirements, or other security controls.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, copy, or extract the service's software, models, or proprietary technology except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the service without our written permission.
• Resell or redistribute access to the service without authorization.
• Share account credentials or allow unauthorized access to your account.

Pricing, Payments, and Renewals

• We offer subscriptions and one-time minute packs with the prices and features displayed at checkout.
• You authorize us and our payment provider to charge the payment method you select for purchases, applicable taxes, and recurring subscription fees.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval shown at purchase unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You may cancel a subscription through your account dashboard. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless otherwise stated.
• Prices and plan features may change. Changes to an existing subscription will be communicated as required by applicable law.
• Purchases are non-refundable except as required by law or as provided in our Refund Policy.

Service Availability and Termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service.
